Step Up to the Plate

Much of the Danville Dan's success is due to the talents and enthusiasm of our interns, who we affectionately call Danterns!

The Dans are members of the summer collegiate Prospect League and play 28 home games from late May to early August. The internship runs from May 24 to August 10. This is an unpaid internship. Danterns may receive a stipend.  Housing is not provided. All Danterns are encouraged to receive college credit for the internship and/or be directly supervised by a professor or advisor from their accredited academic degree program at a university, college or vocational institution during the time of the internship.

All Danterns will tackle a variety of tasks, such as ticket sales, sponsor relations, and game-day operations. Internships can also focus on tasks related to your major or career goals, such as marketing, sales, sports management, and journalism.
